Job summary

Stellantis NV in Auburn, AL, is seeking a Software Engineer to develop Motor Control Processor (MCP) application software for Gen2 EDM and eRAD modules. You will analyze requirements, design, code, and create test plans, performing tests and reviews of C/C++/assembly code.

The role emphasizes virtualization techniques, collaboration with multiple departments/vendors, and experience with MISRA-C and automotive standards. A strong communicator is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with embedded C/C++ software in an RTOS environment; AUTOSAR configuration preferred.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink, dSpace SystemDesk, Git.
• Experience with multicore microprocessors and ISO 26262 functional safety.
• Familiarity with MISRA-C and automotive software quality standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop MCP application software components for Gen2 EDM and eRAD modules.
• Analyze requirements, design, code, test plans, and perform testing.
• Review requirements, design documents, C/C++/assembly, and test plans.
• Engage in virtualization techniques and interact with other departments/vendors to elicit requirements.
• Experience in software diagnostics is a plus.
