Job summary

Stellantis NV in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Propulsion Base Software Core Development Engineer to contribute to embedded software development for propulsion control modules. You will analyze requirements, design and implement low-level drivers, and ensure AUTOSAR alignment with MCAL integration while debugging with Lauterbach and oscilloscopes.

You will collaborate across teams to validate hardware interfaces, optimize real-time performance, and support software bring-up and production

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in embedded software for RTOS.
• Experience with embedded C/C++ in real-time systems.
• Hands-on driver development and microcontroller-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate embedded low-level driver software for propulsion control modules.
• Implement hardware interface drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, ADCs, timers, PWM).
• Contribute to MCAL integration and AUTOSAR-based software.
• Analyze requirements and translate to robust implementation.
• Debug and resolve complex embedded issues using test tools.
