Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Software Engineer to develop Motor Control Processor (MCP) software for Gen2 EDM and eRAD modules of Electrified Powertrain.

The role covers requirements analysis, design, coding, test planning, and testing in a RTOS environment with MISRA-C and MISRA-C-like standards. You'll collaborate across departments, utilize Vector/ETAS/AUTOSAR configs, and apply virtualization and diagnostic practices throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with embedded C/C++ software in RTOS environment; Vector/ETAS/AUTOSAR configuration preferred.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink, dSpace SystemDesk, Git.
• Experience with multicore microprocessors; ability to read hardware schematics; ISO 26262 safety concepts.
• Experience with compilers, emulators, Lauterbach debuggers, and automation scripting.
• Software verification/validation including white/black/grey box testing.
• Familiarity with MISRA-C standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication; adaptable to change.
• Experience with ETAS, INCA, CANoe, CANalyzer for data acquisition.
• Experience with NXP Cobra-55, Aurix TC family MCUs.

Responsibilities

• Develop MCP application software components for Gen2 EDM and eRAD modules.
• Engage in requirements analysis, design, coding, test plan creation and testing.
• Perform reviews/inspections of requirements, design docs, C/C++/assembly code, and test plans.
• Apply virtualization techniques in the application software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with other departments/vendors to elicit software requirements.
• Leverage automotive software diagnostics experience where applicable.
