Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an embedded software engineer to join a team developing base software for EE/core and powertrain modules. You will analyze requirements, design components, and code in C/C++ with test plans and validation across cross-functional teams.

Experience with AUTOSAR, Vector tools, and debugging tools is preferred. A BS in engineering with 8+ years of experience is expected; on-site collaboration in a fast-paced automotive setting is required.

Qualifications

• Embedded C/C++ software experience and hand-coding.
• Experience with AUTOSAR Basic Software configuration for DEM/DCM modules.
• Familiar with ASPICE and ISO 26262 processes.
• Experience with VectorCANoe/CANalyzer and Lauterbach debuggers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and design basic software components for EE/core and powertrain base software.
• Develop C/C++/assembly code and create test plans; conduct testing.
• Review requirements and produce software design documents and test artifacts.
• Collaborate with controls, calibration, and systems engineers in a cross-functional environment.
