Stellantis NV in Auburn, AL seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to EE/core and powertrain base software. You will analyze requirements, design, code, and test, and help produce software design documents and test plans.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with controls, calibration, and systems engineers, with emphasis on base software development, bootloaders, and virtualization techniques in the software life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of overall experience.
• Embedded C/C++ software development experience (hand-coding).
• Experience with programming/scripting languages and adherence to a defined software development process.
• Experience with Vector/ETAS/AUTOSAR Basic Software configuration of DEM/DCM modules.
• Software verification/validation including white/black/gray box testing; data acquisition tools usage.

Responsabilités

• Analyze software requirements, design, code, test plans, and testing for EE/core and powertrain base software.
• Create software design documents and C/C++/assembly code; participate in reviews/inspections.
• Interact with controls, calibration, and systems engineers; work in cross-functional environment.
