Job summary

Effortless Office is seeking an IT Administrator to act as the dedicated technology leader for Sacramento SPCA, embedding with the client on a day-to-day basis in Sacramento, CA. You will manage hands-on IT tasks, onboarding, budgeting, and vendor coordination under EO’s MSP umbrella.

You’ll collaborate across EO teams to implement the IT roadmap, support fundraising events, and ensure security controls are in place while maintaining strong client relationships and clear communications.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of broad IT experience.
• Experience working with an MSP in a co-managed IT environment preferred.
• Certifications such as MS-102, SC-300, CCNA, A+/Network+/Security+, PMP/CAPM preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• Valid California driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IT authority and single point of accountability for daily technology function.
• Write clear, non-technical all-staff communications about tech changes.
• Coordinate escalations with the MSP and EO to implement the IT roadmap.
• Set up technology and assist during fundraising events (2 per year).
• Own inventory management and equipment lifecycle planning.
• Develop and maintain IT policies and disaster recovery plans.
• Champion security measures including MFA rollout and awareness training.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles.
