Job summary

Peak Energy in Burlingame is seeking an IT System Administrator to be the primary hands-on IT owner for our office. You will support end-users, manage workstations, SaaS tools, and our office infrastructure, ensuring engineers and business teams stay productive.

You will partner with the Sacramento site to keep security, identity, and network services aligned across locations, while coordinating with People and Facilities teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on IT experience in a fast-growing company.
• Strong networking basics knowledge and light physical work.
• Deep familiarity with Azure/Entra AD and modern MDM tools.
• Experience supporting engineers with compute/workstation needs.
• Onsite work in Burlingame 4–5 days weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user IT support and on-site troubleshooting.
• Manage equipment lifecycle and onboarding/offboarding.
• Maintain office infrastructure: network, Wi‑Fi, VoIP, AV.
• Administer SaaS stack and identity/access management.
• Enforce security controls and liaise with vendors/MSPs.
• Collaborate with Sacramento site to align across locations.
