Job summary

Aitech Defense Systems in the United States seeks a Field Applications Engineer to bridge customer requirements with rugged embedded solutions across space and defense programs. You’ll blend deep engineering expertise with customer-facing sales and support responsibilities for the Space and Mil/Aero portfolio.

The role involves technical presentations, demonstrations, training, and collaboration with program managers, R&D, and engineering to promote fixes and tailor solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of embedded hardware/software development or support.
• Interest in customer-facing experience and working with customers and partners.
• ITAR: U.S. person required by ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as contact for Aitech US customers with technical or customer service queries, virtually and in person.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support and train customers on products.
• Develop relationships with key clients in space and defense; deliver presentations and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify solutions and surface actionable insights.
