Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Engineer for embedded controls in Marietta, OH. You will design embedded control systems, PCBA layouts, and develop firmware and UI using C/C++ and Qt. This role covers validation, documentation, and collaboration across mechanical and controls teams.

You will work in a regulated manufacturing environment, applying Lean methods, and contributing to design reviews and documentation through the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with embedded firmware development using C and C++.
• Hands-on experience with embedded microcontrollers and digital circuit design.
• Experience designing/ supporting PCBAs including schematic capture and collaboration with PCB layout.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded control systems and PCBAs for electromechanical products.
• Create schematics, BOMs, and assembly drawings for manufacturing and service.
• Develop qualification/testing plans for robust product performance.
• Develop embedded firmware using C/C++ for microcontrollers.
• Build UI/embedded software with Qt-based frameworks.
