Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Embedded Controls Engineer to lead software and controls development, including modeling, hardware testing, and design of automated test equipment. You will ensure requirement tracing, test coverage, and participate in DO-178/DO-254/DO-330 compliant activities, while coordinating with internal and external customers.

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of related experience.
Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink modeling.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate software and controls development activities.
Conduct software modeling and code implementation.
Design analog circuits and automated test equipment.
Utilize design tools for requirement tracing and test coverage.
Execute design, integration, and verification/testing.
Perform hands-on hardware/software testing.
Support software development for hardware qualification and acceptance tests.
Prepare and present technical data to customers.
Support documentation for industry standards and new product releases.
