Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a licensed behavioral health clinician to join a collaborative primary care team across Dorchester and Quincy. The embedded role supports integrated care, providing short-term therapy and triage within a multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities include reviewing records, assessing behavioral health disorders, applying brief therapies (CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving Therapy), designing and delivering treatment plans, and ensuring timely

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or other directly-related Human Service discipline.
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) required.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records prior to initial evaluation to familiarize with history.
• Assess patients for behavioral health disorders and substance use continuum.
• Utilize brief therapies such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving Therapy, and Psycho-Education.
• Collaborate with the primary care team to design treatment plans.
• Develop and deliver education curricula on behavioral health and substance use for staff and providers.
• Complete clinical documentation within required timeframes and policies.
• Learn/adhere to Mass Health insurance standards.
• Develop supervision plan and meet regularly with supervisor.
• Build relationships with physicians, patients, and external providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security.
