Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Clinician (LICSW/LMHC) for the Primary Care Collaborative Care Program in Quincy/Dorchester. This full-time role embeds behavioral health clinicians into a primary care team, providing short-term therapy and structured treatment planning.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Social Work (or related field) and LICSW or LMHC licensure, with strong collaboration, proactive communication, and ability to work independently in a busy clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field and LICSW/LMHC license.
• Experience in behavioral health within primary care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and independent work capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records prior to initial evaluation to familiarize with the patient's history and perform a thorough assessment.
• Assess patients for behavioral health disorders and substance use disorders.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Psycho-Education.
• Collaborate with primary care team to design and implement treatment plans.
• Conduct staff and provider education on behavioral health and substance use.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely and policy-compliant manner.
