Job summary

AVDG is seeking an Embedded Service Technician I to deliver on-site support for AV systems, ensuring optimal performance for clients and collaborating with service management. You will be the face of the organization at customer sites, performing maintenance, setup, and troubleshooting with professionalism.

Minimum 1–3 years in Commercial AV, familiarity with control systems, and proficiency on Windows/Mac OS are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial AV environments.
• Knowledge of signal flow for AV systems.
• Familiarity with control systems (Crestron, Biamp, Q-Sys, Extron).
• Proficient with Windows/Mac OS.
• Experience with Apple IOS devices in daily use.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks including testing and repairing hardware components.
• Setup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet event needs.
• Provide on-site support including break-fix and recording support.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams professionally.
• Setup and troubleshoot audio/video/presentation systems.
• Provide job site documentation and end-user training as needed.
• Adhere to local safety standards.
