Job summary
Guitar Center is seeking an Embedded Event Technician III to join the Service Department. You will be the face of the company, supporting AV systems on-site for clients and ensuring optimal performance across events.
Join a team focused on delivering cutting-edge AV experiences. 2–4 years in Commercial AV with Crestron/Extron/Q-Sys/Dante expertise is preferred, along with strong PC/Mac and iOS interfacing skills.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years in Commercial AV environment.
- Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control.
- Experience with control systems (Crestron, Biamp, Q-SYS, Extron).
- Advanced computer skills on PC and Mac.
- Familiar with Apple IOS products for interface control.
- Ability to read device layouts and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on AV systems and components.
- Set up/break down conference spaces to fit event needs.
- Provide timely on-site support and break-fix tasks.
- Collaborate with internal/external teams to reflect company values.
- Setup and troubleshoot audio/video/presentation systems.
- Deliver job-site documentation and end-user training.
- Adhere to local safety standards on site.
