Job summary

AVDG Embedded Service Technician II with Guitar Center Enterprise responsibilities will provide on-site support for installed AV systems, ensuring optimal performance. You will handle preventative maintenance, event space setup, and on-site troubleshooting in client environments.

Candidates should have 2–4 years in Commercial AV, familiarity with Crestron/Biamp/Q-SYS/Extron, and strong PC/Mac skills. Travel may be required; salary is hourly with solid benefits and company perks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic signal flow for AV systems.
• Experience with control systems such as Crestron, Biamp, Q-SYS, Extron.
• Proficiency with PC/Mac and common OS applications.
• Familiarity with Apple iOS devices used with AV networks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on AV spaces including cables and components.
• Set up and break down conference spaces to meet event needs.
• Provide on-site support for on-site issues with AV systems.
• Collaborate professionally with internal/external teams reflecting company values.
• Set up and troubleshoot audio/video/presentation systems.
• Provide job site documentation and end-user training as needed.
• Adhere to local safety standards on site duties.
