Job summary

Ledgebrook is seeking a Head of Forward Deployed Engineering to lead hands‑on deployment, scaling, and adoption of production AI across our core business units. You will embed with operational leaders—from underwriting to finance—to scope, prototype, and ship AI workflows that business teams actually use, serving as the bridge between field reality and platform architecture.

Responsibilities

• Embed Across Core Business Units: rotate through departments to scope, prototype, and ship production‑ready AI use cases with business leads.
• Build reusable tooling and accelerators for faster prototype delivery.
• Lead a high-autonomy engineering team and guide embedded assignments across priorities.
• Bridge field reality and platform architecture by feeding learnings back to AI platform.
• Drive agentic coding best practices with CI/CD integration points for tools like Claude Code.
• Deliver hands‑on technical and business training to engineers and business users.
• Track metric‑driven impact and avoid vanity usage statistics.
