U.S. Bank is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to our digital transformation by enabling an AI-powered software development lifecycle.

You will own front-to-back development of enterprise AI agents, write production-grade code, and ensure scalable, secure designs across modern tech stacks. The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule with at least 3 days in the office per week, and opportunities to advance in a leading financial technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Six to eight years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, operate and maintain Enterprise AI Agents.
• Full-stack ownership writing production-ready and testable code.
• Create designs for scalability, reliability and performance.
• Analyze failures, propose design changes and improve operations.
• Incorporate feedback from code reviews to meet standards.
• Conduct code reviews to guide engineering best practices and compliance.
• Ensure all aspects of product development follow security and compliance practices.
• Embrace emerging AI technology and contribute to best practices.
• Support a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
