Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a Principal Manager, Email Performance to own the optimization, measurement, and continuous improvement of the email channel across the customer lifecycle. This role partners with IT, analytics, digital product, and marketing to translate goals into data-driven email strategies and measurable impact.

Hybrid work requires presence in Marlborough, MA or Arden Hills, MN at least three days per week; relocation and visa sponsorship are not offered at this time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.
• 8+ years of email marketing or CRM experience with performance focus.
• Proven experience owning email KPIs, reporting, and testing programs.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven recommendations.
• Experience with email deliverability, segmentation and personalization.
• Hands-on with marketing automation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the email performance framework, including KPIs, benchmarks, testing methodology, and reporting standards.
• Translate business objectives into measurable email goals (engagement, conversion, retention, revenue, activation).
• Identify performance gaps and optimization opportunities across campaigns, automations, and lifecycle journeys.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data, insights, and experimentation.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow a high-quality, first-party email subscriber base across owned digital touchpoints, while maintaining consent and list quality standards.
