Job summary

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences seeks an Email Marketing Automation Specialist to lead foundational email initiatives, automated journeys, and targeted campaigns to recruit prospective students. The role focuses on personalization, technical excellence in Marketing Cloud, and collaboration across Enrollment Marketing and Information Services teams.

The position is based on the MCPHS Boston campus with occasional travel to other campuses and a flexible work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant and progressive experience in email marketing automation.
• Certifications in marketing automation platforms and processes highly desired.
• Strong technical skills and expertise with email marketing automation software.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/XML/SQL/Apex/AMPscript/Handlebars.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes targeted email marketing communications within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, using audience data for personalization and behavioral triggers.
• Builds emails, data extensions, journeys, automations, and testing; supports landing pages, forms, and templates.
• Maintains and documents data workflows between Salesforce CRM and email systems; ensures data integrity and process accuracy.
• Writes documentation for data and technical implementations; designs, tests, and refines automation processes.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners and stays current on email marketing trends relevant to higher education.
• Supports on-campus enrollment events and other operational projects as needed.
