Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Pearson English Language Learning Sales Representative to drive revenue growth remotely with significant travel across the region. This field-based role focuses on expanding Pearson’s ELL footprint, acquiring new accounts, and growing long‑term partnerships by offering Pearson’s digital and print solutions.

The role requires a proactive, goal‑driven sales professional with discovery skills, customer-first mindset, and a track record of success in education markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in adult/higher education or related markets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, CRM, and business systems.
• Willingness to travel 3–4 days per week and attend events.
• Reside in Maryland, North Carolina, or Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Engage 15+ faculty members or decision-makers daily via in-person and virtual outreach.
• Prospect and pursue new business opportunities with a hunter mindset.
• Strategically plan and manage territory and accounts to drive revenue growth.
• Present, sell, and negotiate Pearson’s digital ELL solutions both virtually and face-to-face.
• Deliver product demonstrations, onboarding, and training for long‑term adoption.
• Manage pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in Salesforce (OneCRM).
• Stay current on Pearson products and English Language Learning market trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with teachers, administrators, and bookstore partners.
