Job summary

Steele Hill Resorts is seeking a dynamic Wedding & Events Coordinator to lead planning, coordination, and execution of weddings, social gatherings, corporate functions, and celebrations at the resort. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, service-driven, and able to assist with setup and breakdown, delivering memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in event coordination, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to lift, move and assist with event setup equipment as needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-of event logistics for weddings, corporate meetings, social events, and celebrations.
• Engage with clients through venue tours, meetings, and final consultations to build lasting relationships.
• Coordinate with vendors and resort departments to ensure flawless event execution.
• Oversee setup and breakdown of spaces, including decor, equipment, and presentation.
• Prepare BEOs, process orders, and maintain event documentation and internal communications.
• Assist with booking and lead management to secure new events.
• Collaborate on event design and aesthetics to reflect client vision.
• Provide updates and collect feedback for service improvements.
