Job summary

Steele Hill Resorts is seeking a dynamic Wedding & Events Coordinator to plan and execute weddings, social gatherings, corporate functions, and celebrations.

The role requires exceptional organization, outstanding guest service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting while coordinating day-of logistics and coordinating with clients, vendors, and resort departments to deliver memorable events.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in event coordination, hospitality, or customer service preferred
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities
• Ability to lift, move, and assist with event setup equipment as needed
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and varying schedules
• Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Familiarity with BEOs, event sales systems, and hospitality software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-of event logistics from start to finish.
• Assist client meetings, venue tours, and final consultations to foster relationships.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and resort departments to execute details.
• Oversee setup and breakdown of event spaces and décor.
• Prepare BEOs, process orders, and maintain event docs.
• Support sales: respond to inquiries and track leads.
• Collaborate on event aesthetics and layout design.
• Provide updates to Sales Managers and gather client feedback.
