The Tax Manager, Private Client Services, utilizes strong communication, leadership and technical skills to provide tax compliance and consulting to PCS clients while mentoring staff and developing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics is required.
• Master's degree in Accountancy or Taxation is preferred.
• Five or more years of accounting, finance, or law experience is required.
• CPA, EA, Attorney license or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages tax and consulting engagements and identifies client needs and opportunities.
• Gathers information from clients and advisors to prepare tax returns.
• Reviews returns for individuals, trusts, estates, S-Corps, foundations, partnerships, and gifts.
• Directs communication with government agencies on complex matters.
• Performs advanced tax research and develops recommendations for PCS leadership.
• Expands knowledge of tax concepts through client engagements and developments.
• Prioritizes tasks and collaborates with team to complete work.
• Supports PCS/firm contributions including billing, recruiting, and training.
• Builds and maintains relationships with BDO professionals and external sources.
