National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow membership through in-person outreach with small business owners. You are a hunter/closer who thrives on a proven sales process and plays a key role in advocacy in DC and state capitals.

You will receive paid training, full medical/dental/vision benefits, a competitive commission plan, and a structured schedule designed for high performance in a field-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a business or leading a team, with accountability for results.
• Ability to conduct in-person visits and build rapport with small business owners.
• Comfort with a proven, structured sales model and ongoing learning.
• Capacity to work in a hunter/closer role and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver a 5-minute ver batim sales pitch.
• The Close: enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB protections in DC and state capitals.
