Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our helicopter air-ambulance team in the United States. You will provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support from patient contact through handoff to the receiving facility, while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires a minimum of three years in a 911 or critical care setting, current EMT-P license, and flight-paramedic certification planned within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact to transfer to receiving facility, maintaining thorough documentation.
• Maintain competency through ongoing lab and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, continuing education, and safety procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in mission briefings/debriefings.
