Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Danville, KY, seeks a Flight Paramedic to deliver pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care on air transports. You will complete electronic records, perform base checks, and support liftoff operations while maintaining licensure and ongoing education.

Five shift efforts and a safety-first approach define the role. Minimum qualifications include 3+ years in 911/critical care, EMT-P licensure, and required certifications; FP-C within 24 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of 911 or critical care experience.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in states served.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and trauma certifications required.
• FP-C certification required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from scene to handoff.
• Maintain documentation of licensure, certifications and ongoing education.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and mission debriefings; assist with liftoff as needed.
