Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Flight Paramedic in Danville, KY to transport patients and support scene calls. You will perform ALS care, document care, and participate in pre-mission briefings with a professional crew.

Requirements include EMT-P, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and FP-C within 24 months. Expect on-call shifts and rigorous safety standards in a dynamic air-ambulance environment.

Qualifications

• Valid EMT-P license/certification in states served.
• Required BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certifications prior to flight status.
• FP-C certification required within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff.
• Maintain documentation of licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety and procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and mission debriefings, completing required documentation.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and pilot assistance as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards to protect crew, patient and equipment.
• Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as directed by the Regional Director.
