Air Evac Lifeteam in Williamstown, KY is hiring a Flight Paramedic to transport patients and perform scene calls with a team of air-transport professionals. You will perform ALS care, document care, and ensure safety standards are met throughout missions.

Qualified candidates have EMT-P licensure, required certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP), FP-C within 24 months, and may require NREMT-P in some areas. Base duties include pre-mission briefings, equipment maintenance, and documentation.

Formación

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact until handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety and procedures in Education Manual.
• Stay knowledgeable on equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in briefings/debriefings.
• Assist in liftoff checklists and pilot support as needed (radio, navigation, observation).
• Comply with safety standards for crew, patients and equipment prior to liftoff.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as required.
• Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as directed by Regional Director.
