Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to spend most time in the field meeting small business owners and growing NFIB membership. This Hunter/Closer role is hybrid, training-focused, and rewards uncapped commissions.

You'll follow a proven sales model, deliver a concise presentation, and close memberships while educating owners on NFIB advocacy at the federal and state levels.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a business or leading a sales territory.
• Proven face-to-face selling and cold-calling ability.
• Fast learner who thrives on a proven, structured sales model.
• Passionate about protecting and advocating for small business.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person calls to meet small business owners in your market.
• Deliver NFIB's 5-minute sales presentation with confidence.
• Close memberships on the spot using an assumptive one-call close.
• Educate owners on NFIB advocacy and rights in DC and state capitals.
