Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while maintaining speed, quality, and customer excellence across the team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair. Safety and teamwork are essential in our busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan the repair work and prepare customer cost estimates using appropriate tools.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resin when necessary.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass; refurbish interiors as needed.
• Weld and fasten parts; repaint vehicles with factory or equivalent finish.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
