Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence while contributing to KPI targets.

The role requires high school or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship. You will work with body shop teams, using cutting tools, jacks, hammers, and fillers to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program OR a 3-year auto body apprenticeship preferred.
• Able to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and tools used in auto body work.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates using appropriate tools.
• Repair dents, replace parts, and refinish vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis/frames and ensure quality post-repair inspections.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and adhere to KPIs.
