NSA's Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) support the SIGINT mission by analyzing foreign language materials, translating, and producing insights for policymakers and field operators.

Applicants must meet ILR 2/2 in reading/listening for the target language. The role offers LADP/advanced development options within a mission-driven NSA environment, with opportunities across offices and tours.

Competenze

• Minimum education: a degree in any field is acceptable.
• ILR 2/2 reading/listening in the target language required.
• Entry/Developmental and Full Performance levels defined with experience requirements.

Mansioni

• Analyze, transcribe, translate foreign language materials.
• Engage with partners, enablers, and customers across the IC.
• Support LADP or direct hire into analytic mission offices.
• Develop and apply language/analytic competencies.
• Mentor and potentially lead junior Language Analysts.
• Ensure timely, accurate SIGINT reporting and analysis.
