Job summary

NSA's Linguists, known as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), analyze foreign language materials for SIGINT and provide insights to policy makers and operators across NSA offices. LADP or direct hire paths are available, with on-the-job tours and training opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have ILR 2/2 in reading/listening for the target language, a degree, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• Degree in any field is acceptable.
• 1 year of relevant experience in translation, transcription, or analysis.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials for SIGINT.
• Research and synthesize information to support analytic products.
• Collaborate with MDLAs and other analysts across NSA offices.
• Mentor and coach junior Language Analysts.
