Job summary

NSA's Linguists, known as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), are selected for language analysis supporting SIGINT objectives. This posting emphasizes Chinese language proficiency and progression through LADP or direct hire into analytic missions.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language
• Minimum education/experience variations: HS diploma with 4 years, Associate with 2 years, or Bachelor's with no experience
• Ability to translate, transcribe, or analyze language material in SIGINT context

• Analyze foreign language materials within SIGINT framework
• Transcribe, translate, and analyze content for intelligence reporting
• Collaborate with analysts across the Intelligence Community to support mission goals
