Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson seeks a dynamic Banquet Captain to lead high-end events with precision and guest service excellence. You will coordinate setup, service stations, and breakdown while maintaining top presentation standards and seamless execution across multiple simultaneous events.

Qualifications

• Three + years experience as a Banquet Captain in a high-volume operation.
• Alcohol service certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Knowledge of banquet and food service standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all assigned banquet functions from setup to breakdown.
• Review BEOs and coordinate with culinary, sales, and operations.
• Direct banquet team members and assign service stations.
• Coordinate and monitor food and beverage service for quality and timing.
• Plan staffing, conduct pre-shift meetings, and maintain service standards.
• Train, coach, and recognize team members to foster high performance.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and event documentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety policies.
• Attend training and adapt to varying schedules.
