Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Minnesota is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs and alignment with our WOW standards. The role focuses on precise disassembly, repair, and reassembly to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, preparing cost estimates, using cutting tools, and ensuring quality through to final inspection while meeting labor time guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship accepted.
• Experience in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repaint as needed.
• Ensure work meets labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
