Gerber Collision & Glass in Fishers, IN is seeking an Auto Body Technician dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences through precise repair of vehicles damaged in collisions. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, using cutting guns, plasma cutters, and other tools, while maintaining speed, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections.
• Hammer out dents, realign chassis, replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and attach parts, repaint to factory specs, inspect work for quality.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and perform related duties.
