Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission seeks a seasoned Eligibility Supervisor II to lead a unit in the Family Resources and Eligibility Services division. You will guide staff, review cases for potential fraud, and ensure timely TANF, SNAP, CHIP, and Medicaid workups from a Borger location with potential telework.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong communication, and familiarity with TIERS/EWMS.

Qualifications

• Sixty (60) semester hours from an accredited college or university required.
• Experience in supervising staff and coordinating case work.
• Knowledge of fraud prevention for SNAP/TANF/Medicaid programs is required.
• Strong communication and time management skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of assigned staff and operations.
• Plan, organize, and monitor service delivery to ensure program goals.
• May hire, evaluate, and schedule staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Interpret policies and guidance for staff and clients; resolve inquiries.
• Identify potential fraud and redistribute workload to maintain timeliness.
• Collaborate with agency staff and partners to support program integrity.
