Job summary

TK Elevator in Los Angeles, CA seeks an experienced Superintendent- Service to oversee field service operations, ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness in daily activities. You will conduct site audits, assist mechanics, review route profitability, participate in safety training, and provide technical input for bids.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience plus a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Visits job sites and performs quality audits for efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Performs NIM audits within 15 days of turnover and identifies improvement opportunities
• Assists mechanics with jobs and provides on‑the‑job training
• Reviews route profitability using accounting reports and provides feedback to management
• Participates in safety training
• Provides technical input to sales on scope, labor, and materials for bids
• Provides feedback to service manager before evaluations and ratings
• Maintains knowledge of elevator codes (federal, state, local)
• Keeps up with product updates through training and supplier communications
• Determines materials needed for service, repairs, and parts orders
• Performs other duties as assigned
