TK Elevator in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an experienced Superintendent-Repair to oversee repair operations, scheduling, and safety. You will supervise mechanics, manage backlogs, review reports, and ensure cost-efficient execution while maintaining knowledge of codes and TK Elevator products.

The role requires leadership, strong communication with management and customers, and a valid driver’s license. Travel within the region may be required; on-site work is expected.

• Strong knowledge of the construction industry and general management skills.
• Ability to write reports, contract proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicles Report.

• Ensure daily repair operations run efficiently and cost effectively; manage surveys, bookings, materials, and manpower.
• Foster a culture of safety; administer safety program and training; conduct safety audits.
• Participate in weekly repair backlog meetings to update schedules and system data.
• Supervise repair mechanics and apprentices; perform site audits and performance management.
• Use system reports to monitor repair status, efficiency and billing.
• Review TK Trip reports with mechanics and sales personnel.
• Maintain knowledge of market area, sales backlog, service volumes and market penetration.
• Maintain familiarity with TK Elevator products and company policies.
• Maintain knowledge of elevator codes and assist accounts receivable with collections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
