Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Superintendent- Service in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on supporting service operations to keep the department efficient and cost-effective while ensuring compliance with industry codes and safety standards.

The position involves site audits, training, and collaboration with mechanics, sales, and management. A valid driver's license and relevant education/experience are required, along with a strong focus on customer service and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years’ experience in managing a branch department or equivalent
• Ability to write reports, proposals and business correspondence
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from management and customers

Responsibilities

• Visits job sites and performs quality audits for efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Performs NIM audits within 15 days of turnovers and suggests improvements
• Assists mechanics with jobs and provides on-the-job training
• Reviews route profitability using accounting reports and communicates with management
• Participates in safety training and maintains knowledge of codes
• Provides technical input to sales on scope, materials and labor costs
• Keeps up-to-date with elevator industry codes and product updates
• Determines materials needed for service, repairs and parts orders
• Performs other duties as assigned
