TK Elevator in Manhattan, NY seeks an experienced Operations Manager- Service/Repair to lead all service and repair operations, drive profitability, and meet annual budgets. You will supervise superintendents, perform safety audits, and partner with sales to scope repairs and bids.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or substantial management experience, valid driver's license, and thorough elevator industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or extensive management experience; or two years' branch-level management.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicles Report.
• Thorough knowledge of elevator industry and general management methods.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Supervises superintendents and employees with direction, training, and policy communication.
• Administers safety program including weekly safety audits.
• Visits job sites and performs quality audits to ensure cost-effective, timely repairs.
• Uses accounting reports/Map Point to review routes and profitability; adjust as needed.
• Provides technical input to sales on scope, materials, and costing for repairs.
• Monitors 30-day callback program and strives to keep cancellations under 3%.
• Communicates daily with customers with down cars; collaborates with Branch Manager and Sales Managers.
• Maintains knowledge of federal/state/local elevator codes and company products.
