Job summary

TK Elevator in Northern New Jersey is seeking an experienced Superintendent-Repair to oversee daily repair operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will lead repair crews, enforce safety standards, and collaborate with regional coordinators to optimize schedules and data integrity.

The role requires strong management, reporting, and customer-facing skills, with a focus on safety, process improvement, and adherence to industry codes.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of construction/management or business background; or related experience.
• Ability to write reports, proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information to management and customers.
• Ability to analyze problems and data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily repair operations run efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Promote and enforce safety through safety programs and audits.
• Participate in weekly repair backlog meetings to update schedules and data.
• Supervise repair mechanics and apprentices; conduct performance management.
• Use system reports to monitor repair status, efficiencies and billing.
• Maintain knowledge of market area, backlog, service and repair volumes.
