TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Superintendent- Repair in Northern New Jersey to oversee daily repair operations, ensure efficiency, and manage manpower and materials across multiple sites. The role emphasizes safety, reporting, and close collaboration with regional coordinators.

You will supervise mechanics and apprentices, conduct site audits, and leverage reports to monitor performance while maintaining awareness of market conditions and TK Elevator products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or two years of branch management experience.
• Ability to write reports, contract proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to management and customers.
• Ability to identify problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret complex instructions and data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily repair operations run efficiently and cost effectively.
• Schedule repairs, manage materials, and review manpower needs.
• Foster a culture of safety; administer safety program and training.
• Supervise repair mechanics and apprentices; perform site audits.
• Use system reports to monitor repair status and performance.
• Review repair reports with mechanics and sales personnel.
• Maintain knowledge of market area, backlog, and service volume.
