Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Service Operations Manager to oversee repair, maintenance and retention of products within the portfolio. You will collaborate with the district GM to support acquisition and recovery efforts across the region, aiming for exceptional customer satisfaction and alignment with regional objectives.

The role requires leadership of Field Superintendents and Project Managers, budget oversight, and strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Multiple years of experience in various assignments within the Company, in the Elevator industry, or in another service-oriented business.
• People management experience; progressive leadership experience in industrial service or related operational environments.
• P&L management experience for an industrial company.

Responsibilities

• Execute the territory operations business plan in support of the region's objectives and budget; develop and coordinate implementation of operational plans.
• Manage operational budget via asset management and billing procedures; build strong customer relationships and ensure high quality service.
• Lead a team of Field Superintendents and Project Managers; hire, onboard, and develop talent; oversee labor relations and performance management.
• Ensure effective service operations meetings and provide technical oversight; coordinate with Product Line experts on operational challenges.
