Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation in Pittsburgh is hiring a Field Superintendent-Existing Installation. You will lead field technicians, manage routes, parts, and payroll, and ensure maintenance meets contract requirements while maintaining profitability.

You will perform regular site inspections, conduct safety audits, and train technicians. You will collaborate with sales teams and project managers during contract conversions to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in elevator industry or technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field technicians to meet quality standards and contract requirements.
• Coordinate routes, scheduling, parts ordering, and payroll verification.
• Partner with Area/Territory Ops Managers to improve service metrics and implement best practices.
• Perform regular site inspections and field safety audits to ensure safe work practices.
• Collaborate with local sales and project managers during contract conversions to ensure customer satisfaction.
