Job summary

Start Elevator in New York and New Jersey seeks a Sales Account Manager to maintain and grow relationships with clients, including building owners, property managers, and contractors. You will oversee sales, contract negotiations, service delivery, and customer satisfaction for elevator products and services.

Identify client needs, provide solutions, coordinate with technical teams, and ensure timely issue resolution to maximize retention and revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales and/or account support role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Aptitude for technical, mechanical concepts and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales among client accounts, including upsell and cross-selling.
• Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts.
• Ensure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
• Communicate client needs and demands to management.
• Forecast and track client account metrics.
• Manage projects within client relationships, working to meet client and company goals.
• Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients.
• Coordinate with staff on the same account to ensure consistent service.
• Collaborate with sales team to reach prospective clients.
• Serve multiple clients concurrently, meeting deadlines.
• Keep records of client transactions.
