Job summary

Fujitec America in Mason, OH seeks an experienced operations leader to administer the safety program, plan elevator installations and modernizations, and oversee service, repairs, and labor needs. The role involves directing staff, schedules, and payroll while ensuring adherence to safety standards and budgets.

You will coordinate with owners, property managers, contractors, and architects to ensure profitable projects and on-time completion, performing bid reviews and labor/material cost

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in related field.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
• Local Travel Expectations: 60%.

Responsibilities

• Administer the company safety program and perform safety audits as needed.
• Plan, direct, and prioritize elevator installations, modernizations, and service.
• Manage staff, schedules, and review payroll.
• Monitor vehicle use and assignments.
• Review job status using accounting reports to identify risk and opportunities.
• Develop relationships with owners, property managers, contractors, and architects.
• Survey and sign off on bids, attend pre-bid meetings, and provide labor/material cost input.
• Approve change orders, purchase orders, and accounts-related documents.
• Maintain SOP familiarity and interface with factory, coordination, and labor teams.
• Mediate and resolve complaints from customers and local agents, including union issues.
• Coordinate material orders, subcontracting, and project purchases.
• Oversee service maintenance and construction budgets and spending.
• Obtain permits and schedule inspections as required.
• Communicate with field staff, conduct weekly visits to oversee safety and progress.
