Job summary

Fujitec America is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee branch service operations, ensuring mechanics have resources and support for safe, efficient installations, repairs, and maintenance. The role collaborates with mechanics, supervisors, account managers, customers, and leadership to meet safety, operational, financial, and compliance targets.

The manager takes ownership of issues from identification to completion, maintaining clear communication across parties.

Qualifications

• Lead safety program administration and safety audits as needed.
• Direct scheduling and prioritization of installations, modernizations, service, repairs, and labor needs.
• Oversee payroll processes and staff scheduling; manage budgets.
• Monitor vehicle usage and fleet management responsibilities.
• Review project status using accounting reports; identify risks and opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Survey, review, and sign off on bids; attend pre-bid meetings and provide technical input on labor/material costs.
• Sign off on change orders and purchase orders; manage accounts receivable and credits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local elevator codes and company SOPs.
• Coordinate with factory, coordination, and labor departments; consult with management.
• Resolve complaints and coordinate with stakeholders, including union-related issues.
