Job summary

Fujitec America is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee branch service operations, ensuring field mechanics have the resources, information, parts, and support to complete elevator installations, repairs, and modernization on schedule.

The role collaborates with mechanics, supervisors, account managers, customers, vendors, and leadership to maintain safety, quality, and compliance while driving customer satisfaction and branch performance.

Responsibilities

• Administer company safety program and conduct safety audits.
• Plan, direct, and prioritize elevator installations, modernizations, service, and labor needs using scheduling tools.
• Manage staff, schedules, and payroll approvals.
• Monitor vehicle usage and assignment.
• Review job status and reporting to identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop relationships with contractors, consultants, and construction firms.
• Review bids, change orders, and procurement approvals.
• Maintain knowledge of elevator industry codes and SOPs.
• Coordinate material orders and sub-contracting as needed.
• Manage budget and spending; ensure permits and inspections.
• Communicate with field staff and conduct regular site visits to monitor progress.
